Replacement of ATCC 21273, the current type strain of Streptomyces rameus Shibata 1959, with IFO 3782: Request for an Opinion

It is proposed that the type strain of Streptomyces rameus Shibata 1959 is IFO 3782 (= No. 43797), which is the originally designated type strain, and not ATCC 21273 as given in the Approved Lists. The level of DNA relatedness between IFO 3782 and ATCC 21273 is 30%, indicating that they are different species.
