Newly synthesized influenza virus proteins are transported from the nucleus -- Flawith and Dimmock 45 (2): 527 -- Journal of General Virology

Newly synthesized nuclear NP, M and NS1 proteins migrated from the nucleus over a period of several hours. Rates of transport were higher for NP than for M or NS1 and suggest that nuclear NP may play a role in multiplication.
