GB virus C/hepatitis G virus replicates in human haematopoietic cells and vascular endothelial cells [Retraction of the article by A. Handa and K. E. Brown]

I wish to retract the above article. I have learned that Fig. 3 was fabricated by the first author. The data supporting the rest of the paper have been lost and therefore I cannot verify the accuracy of those data. I deeply regret that this serious problem occurred, and sincerely apologize to any of my colleagues who may have been misled or inconvenienced by this publication.
